Things that walk around.
The dream is to have INTENSIVE+ADAPTIVE MULTI PADDOCK grazing (AMP grazing). Mixed animals in some scenarios.
A large-animal herd is moved around from pasture to pasture (cattle, sheep, goats) leaving shit-patties,
then birds are moved in directly behind the large-animals to eat the insects (fly maggots, etc) that thrive in the patties.
Afterwards, we can plant or rest the land. Should produce ridiculous amts of organic matter in the soil.
- Cattle
- dairy
- beef
- Haired sheep (too humid for wool)
- Goats
- dairy
- lamb
- Chickens
- layers
- broilers
- Geese (can be eaten)

- Forested pigs
- Rabbits (can be eaten)
- Stocked fishing pond (?)
NOTE:
This is not simple rotational grazing, which might involve rotating the herd once a week or less.
For AMP grazing (Adaptive-Multi-Paddock), the paddocks must be SMALL and animals must be moved FREQUENTLY,
ie 1-3 times a day, maybe more in the growing season. The herd must be dense enough to trample the soil.
